Colette's company conducted a groundbreaking study that helps companies gain a better understanding of consumer attitudes, behaviors and upcoming trends relating to natural health, wellness and the environment. The Ohio Health and Wellness Research Report is an in-depth analysis of the Ohio consumer marketplace, the first study of its kind that reveals valuable statistics and market trends relating to health, wellness and the environment. She uses this report as a baseline and national research and data to teach companies how to really understand the trends and translate them to bottom line profits.
Prior to launching the Marketing Insider, Colette spent time marketing in Europe and conducting successful international marketing & PR campaigns. It is through this work and leisure travel that Colette has visited over 13 countries. Rising to the top of her field, she is acknowledged as an accomplished copywriter, marketing strategist, spokesperson and media trainer and has applied her talents to many fields including integrated marketing, communications, public relations and fundraising.
Colette holds a Journalism degree from The Ohio State University with a major in Public Relations and a specialization in Psychology.
She is one of the 2006 Forty Under Forty Recipients from Columbus’ Business First and is in the process of writing her first book. She was recently published in Enterprising Women Magazine, AH & L Smartbriefs and 4hoteliers.com. She was a monthly columnist for Business First for two years and now writes numerous articles for various publications throughout the country including Green Lodging News. Colette currently sits on the board for the Advertising Federation of Columbus and the advisory board for Junior League of Columbus. She is married, resides in Westerville, Ohio and recently had her first baby.
